As I've mentioned to some of you offline, I'm refocusing on this project in 2017, partially by ditching the alphabetical approach, instead looking more toward maintaining geographic variety. Currently targeting Sunday, January 8 for the next meal - Serbia - after a recent trip to the Balkans left me with a taste for more. Kafana (http://www.kafananyc.com/) is the place I have in mind; I just need to swing by there this weekend and see what they can accommodate.

Beyond that I will likely try to do one on Friday night, Jan 20, as we'll have people coming in town for the Winter WineDo.

As mentioned in the other thread, I'm planning a pre-WineDo South African dinner at Madiba on Friday the 20th. I'll be making a reservation later this week based on the level of interest.

I've eaten at Madiba before and it's quite good. Hopefully GrjApp can join us to verify its authenticity

Great! I've made a reservation for 12 at 8pm on Friday night. Including you guys, 8 seats are currently claimed.
