Santiago and Easter Island / IPC meetup thread
There will be alot of FT:ers heading for the capital of Chile and the mysterious island of Easter Island in the months of March, April, May and also June.
I thought that everyone (that wants to) could write down the dates and flight numbers that they are travelling on to SCL and IPC and we could see who are on the same dates.
Also, if you have booked hotel and want to share that, feel free to do that.
Please write as per following example:

You guys will love Easter Island. For what it's worth, I flew to Santiago about 4 years ago on that Miami-Santiago flight that gets in very early in the morning. Crowne Plaza Hotel checked me in to my room right away. Hotel is a bit dated, but location is good, walking distance to some bars and to the subway.
On Easter Island, the Hotel Gomero was perfectly fine. I almost never drive in foreign countries, but I highly recommend renting a car/small SUV on Easter Island. There are only a few roads, virtually no traffic, and the coastal drive to see the Moai is absolutely beautiful.
I rented a Gran Vitara from Insular car rental (just walked in, it's on the main road), did the coastal drive, and the next day I went back and did it again. This map is worth the $5 on amazon, as it shows some lesser known moai:

Never thought I'd ever go back, but at these prices, it's almost tempting! If you guys need any recommendations, I can try to dig up some memories.
LAN's business class isn't too bad, with good seats.
Regardless, I've already bought a trip to S America before this sale... so I thought I'd throw my itin here anyways to meet up.
