Thanks for organizing this, MidTierStatus.
I always enjoy getting together with other FT'ers and this was no exception.
See you at the next get together.

Ann Arbor/DTW Area Happy Hour
I'm in the Lansing area and we always enjoy driving down for the great restaurants in Ann Arbor. Hoping to possibly join the next get together. Thanks!

I know AA is full of good restaurants but I was thinking of another option for a meet up. . .
How about at the Whole Foods at the AA/Saline exit off 94? They have a large eating area in the front of the store with tables. Lots of options for different kinds of food. There's a wine and beer bar and gelato too. Depending how many people could come they might let us reserve a couple of the tables in the cooking demonstration area.
Extra points for grocery store cc's. Just a thought. . .
I often go to the store for brunch, get food at the hot/salad bar and make my list while eating. Then I'm not starving while shopping. It becomes and event, not just another drudgery of a grocery shop.

Hey gardengirl, I did not realize we are neighbors!
I am fine with Whole Foods. Also, Panera across the street too!

I often go to the store and eat all the samples
I just returned from FTU and need to catch my breath...Best will be to throw a date out there and see if it sticks...

I enjoy the samples too. I've probably noticed you at times. If we do one of the cooking demonstrations for our gathering the meal would be virtually free Always thinking of ways to save.

My friend does at least two laps of free samples before buying a tiny amount of food. And then he complains he has no time. I told him if he made fewer laps and parted with $7, he'd have more time.
I'm in for Whole Foods if I'm around and available.

However, I'm stuck in a 9 to 5 gig until Friday. Then I'll have a week and a half off.

You mean Eisenhower? I usually go to the other Panera & Whole Foods combo on Washtenaw/Huron Parkway.
So far Wed lunch time is open for me. I need to eat more salads, so I am in.
