ANC AS Gold Mini-DO Oct. 18
 

AS is holding their GOLD breakfast & lunch in ANC on Oct. 18, 2012 and I have been (umhmmm) "Volunteered" to host a dinner the night before, which I think is a splendid idea!!!

The dinner will be on Oct. 17 at around 7:00 PM.

Menu requests will be read (not guaranteeing anything) and Pot Luck will be part of the fun.

Oh.....THERE WILL BE WINE!!!!!:D

My flight is supposed to land at 6:15ish

With a little assistance I can make risotto when I get there ... but it probably won't be ready til 730.

Otherwise, it will be something from the Fred Meyer deli :)

We can drink wine until it's ready. Any thoughts on the main?

Grilled veggies such as zucchini could be good... but I'd say it depends on how many folks attend.

Ah so not enough time for a pre-dinner-BR meetup it sounds like. Would cut into the vino enjoyment ;)

I would love to come say hello to my friends up north again, but since this is a midweek event I'll have to wait until next time. Maybe I should go ahead and plan another December mileage (beer) run like last year?
