After dropping off ClaudiStr and Ningyo at the Hilton last night chellenyc and I got stuck in a police checkpoint. The police officer was surprised at my honesty that I admitted to drinking and only in fact tested for only the one beer I had last night ;) (Thank you Travelsig for the beer BTW)

My pleasure! A few months ago I arrived very late at night in Munich by car (it was still summer) and was stopped at a checkpoint- the officers were very kind however seemed to doubt that someone at 1 AM could be driving in the centre of Munich and not be drinking :) After I tested 0.0 they asked if I needed directions to my hotel- nice people and we had a good laugh- they said it was "not common" to be driving around at 1 AM on a Sunday morning in Munich without having a drink.

Congratulations on a very nice and well organized event- and great to meet new friends and re-meet old ones.

My +0,5 got a cold and she's unfit to fly :( I will come alone. :(

I am on my way home now. These have been three amazing days in Munich. I enjoyed meeting all of you very much, the fabulous meals and of course the Lufthansa tour. And everything went without any glitches - thanks a lot to the organizers for their hard work!

Nowhere you could find better participants than you are, for example our no-show-rate on Saturday and Sunday was at zero.

We will also donate the money from the last-minute cancellations, which we couldn't hand over to someone from the waiting list and hadn't any financial obligations towards the restaurants, to the Help Alliance.
