I live in the middle of a wilderness with a really, really big mountain I can see whenever the weather allows. Nothing about Alice Springs compels me to visit there. Uluru aside, not my cup of tea. I would pass and wait for the next Ozfest.

First visited that one back in 1984 ... more like a few tin sheds back then but it did have a couple of acres of vines.

I believe it closed in 2003 ...
