Ok, slight hiccup with my travel plans. Have to head to Australia tomorrow night and spend Mon and Tues in Darwin (dont ask). Then horror of horrors, the only way I can get to NRT in time is to fly to Japan via Cairns on something called Jetstar. I will need a drink and a lie down by the time I arrive - but I am now arriving a day earlier (ie Wed night 2000) rather than 1600 Thursday.

Oh no, that is not good. My condolances.

I hope you got a "StarClass" seat, although that is only marginally better than whY.

What!!!!! No Dom? No lie flats? No 1200 channels of IFE??? I'm outraged. Someone told me they serve a meal in a box - even in StarClass. I'm off to write a strongly worded letter to that wee Irishman, Alan Joyce.

I'll be thinking of you, eightblack, from the serenity of my NH staggered business class cubicle.

Ok, scratch everything I said. It all got too hard so I have told work that I am reverting back to Plan A (ie my original travel). Prospero, apologies if the hotel and airline clackerboard had a melt-down...

Change nothing. Everyone stay as they were...

I'll raise a glass to you in CX J. About six times between leaving Sydney and landing in Tokyo. And at the wonderful lounges in between.
