HOLY TOLEDO (Ohio that is) - Dinner &/or Drinks - Sunday Eve June 3, 2012

Anyone around in the Toledo area that would like to get together for a bite &/or a drink on Sunday eve June 3rd?

Even if one is not, I'm looking for quintessential Toledo dining & drinking establishments, so please offer them up !!^

The only 'dining' place I recall about Toledo is Tony Packo's Hot Dogs which was Klinger's favorite haunt to get hot dogs in the TV series M*A*S*H.

The Toledo Mudhens are in town, so I may try to take in a game.

DINNER has been set:

Venue: Loma Linda's Mexican www.toledostripletreat.com/loma/
it is located very close to Toledo's airport
Time: 6pm

Attending:
mmargel

If you have time in Toledo, consider the museum: I am sure you know this - it is considered very good.

can I lure you to CLE???

If not, I might be compelled to go to LomaLinda's.

Everytime my Dad had a rock concert in Toledo, we would end up there, so major nostalgia!!

Lemme know.

I can work out an early lunch in Cleveland on Mon June 4, possible breakfast if lunch isn't an option.

Some possible lunch spots (up for suggestions as well)
Slymans www.slymans.com
Corky & Lenny's www.corkyandlennys.com
I've also wanted to try a Cleveland Polish Boy sandwich http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish_Boy

I'm assuming the latter won't work for you but thought I'd post anyways.

Obviously considering the above, you don't need any assistance finding a good meal in Cleveland but if you did, allow me to suggest http://www.sokolowskis.com/ It's a neighborhood joint but Michael Symon and Bourdain think it's ridiculously good. They open at 11am on Mondays. Wish I could join you guys.

The ballpark is downtown, so Tony Packos is within walking distance. If you're looking for restaurants, I take a lot of clients to Mancys, which can be found at www.mancys.com. They have three restaurants around, Italian, steakhouse, and seafood.

appreciate the feedback:-: The Mancys options look quite good (especially if I was entertaining a client), I'll prob just grab a quick cheaper bite somewhere as I'm on my own dime for Sun eve.
