I'll be arriving in RGN on February 11/12/13 still haven't finalized my positioning flight. Leaving on the 18th.

I'll be arriving on 1/24 in the afternoon. Leaving in the morning to TPE.

I will be in RGN for R2s, 1/30/13 and 2/6/13, only staying in the airport. However, I plan to see the country a bit, 10 days to 2 weeks prior to flying R1 ticket 3/24/13.

Landing in RGN on Feb 13 on TG 303, leaving for a day and a half to Mandalay, getting back into RGN on the 14th. Flying out on TG 306.

I've been to RGN twice already, but have 5 or 6 hours after my flight lands from MDL till my TG flight leaves so might go visit "The Lady's" house or explore the lake, which some of the things I still haven't had a chance to do in RGN...

Okay I finalized my itinerary. Getting in to RGN on 2/12 staying 2 nights. Then 2 nights in Bagan followed by 2 nights in Inle before flying out on an R1 on the 18th.

Arriving at RGN at 11am on the 9th of Feb and leaving again same day at 10pm. Just planning on checking out Yangon/pagoda etc

Inbound 2/12 on SQ, outbound 2/13 on TG.

I fly Air Asia DMK-MDL on Wed, Feb 6. I'll spend about 4 or 5 days.

I think I'll arrive RGN on Mon, Feb 11 and leave Thur, Feb 14.

Some PMs sent, will send more. I was in both places 1-1/2 years ago. Trying to figure out where to stay in Yangon. The East Hotel prices have tripled!

Another reminder, bring crisp USD, no B in serial no.
 

I thought I had 9 perfect $100 bills. I learned my lesson the last time I was here. I changed $300 at the airport, no problem. But the guest house that I'm staying at rejected 4 of the 6 that I had left. They don't accept bills that have a B as the second letter in the serial number, and one bill had a very slight fold!

Bring extra cash. Some bills are going to get rejected!

Universe Hotel, Mandalay, has good location, good WiFi in the room and a back up generator. $35 for a single, breakfast included.

Will be transiting in RGN at the end of the month.

If not, I will have my 2 transit visa immigration forms and 20$ handy.

Interested in chat with people who like ticketing and fares rather than travel itself:) Ie would be interested to discuss the limitations of certain GDSs (ie domestic sectors excluded from MPM checks etc)... Or other tricks.

probably coming in on Air Asia from DMK, flying out at noon to KUL. Debating whether an airside TWOV (not sure how this will work with AirAsia) or a VoA... don't want to spend 20 bucks on yet another Burma visa and not use it...

Planning to do similar immediate turnaround on 3 March.

Will be from April 17 arriving on TG 305, spending 2 days in Yangon then heading north to Mandalay and Bagan. Leaving country on April 24 on the SG flight.

I am currently in the SIN SG lounge enroute to Rgn. Will arrive March 11th for 2 nights at the Motherland Inn 2, then go north. Would be nice to meet up with someone and perhaps share some travel. As noted previously, I will fly my R1 on march 24th.

thanks. do you know where the RGN info thread went? i feel like there was a consolidated place for all the tour guides, Bagan things to do, Yangon stuff to do, etc. there - or maybe I am confused and just have to plow through the R3 thread where I must've seen it.
