I'll be in Myanmar Nov 25-Dec 1 on the RGN Jumbo. Those of you going Nov-Feb, make sure you get hotel and internal flight reservations ASAP, the whole country is pretty much booked up, especially at the lower end. Heading immediately to Inle Lake for the balloon festival, then I'm not sure.

Try Air Mandalay, we made a successful reservation with them for a March itinerary. The Discover Myanmar Pass which was suspended, is now available.

I found it the easiest to PM all the FTers on the dates you're looking to meet up. For New Year's eve, there seems to be quite a few FTers that will be there. Have fun!

All set for the RGN trip at the end of December. Arriving there on 28th Dec on Thai Air around 1345, and departing on ANA on 31st dec. Will be staying at Chan Myae Guesthouse. Just got their email confirmation for room bookings.

I'm arriving on Dec. 25th. I have three nights booked at Traders Hotel, but they all can be cancelled as I'm trying to get to Bagan for a day or two.

Forgot to mention that I will be staying at Clover City Center hotel.

I start now preparing all my RGN stuff. I suppose I still am in the game, but need to check everything.

I booked RGN out on 27/1/2013 and will stay some days in the country before.
Going to NYC
OUt of NYC to RGN on the 2/2/2013.

Will travel alone, but appreciate some social activities with FT-people. Just did the 2nd group of Gangnam and was great experience!

I'm at Trader's Hotel now. It's a nice hotel, although check-in took forever. I'm trying to head to Bagan tomorrow for one night. Does anyone have a suggestion of where I could buy a last minute ticket? Local travel agency or airline ticketing office? The concierge here at the hotel said all the ticketing offices are closed today for Christmas, which seems odd in an overwhelmingly Buddhist country.

March 24-29 here. Finally starting to plan for the trip now, hoping to go up to Bagan for ~2 nights.

At traders hotel now in a wonderful renovated suite. Great hotel with great service - definitely exceeded my expectations.
