Technically Horse and Bourbon Do III but who's counting...

Before Horse and Bourbon Do II weekend is even over, I'll go ahead and sign up for H&BD III.

Woodford Reserve need not worry about Wild Turkey taking over as the official bourbon of H&BD. Wild Turkey may be ok for Herb Kelleher, but us Flyertalkers have much more demanding and refined palettes.

-Herb687 still in LEX

you are correct, there's actually been at least IV Keeneland Dos that I'm aware of.

Glad you guys are interested, I've put you all down in the "Would like to Attend"

Since that is just about the time of the month that we usually make our stop in Louisville, I think that we will try to see if we can get down to LEX for this one.

Request made that Sweet Willie put us down as "very interested."

After last weekend's fun event in LEX, please put on the "would like to attend" list, no matter what number Horse and Bourbon Do it is.

LEX Lexington is not a cheap airport to fly into, neither is CVG, so there is a good chance I'll be driving, any local Chicago FTers (or those along I-65 to Indy, then I-74 to Cincy) are welcome to hitch a ride if needed.@:-)

of course there is plenty of time between now & Oct to discuss.

But the WN service to SDF has made some routes into there quite reasonably priced on all the airlines. Do not forget that SDF is really quite a short drive from anywhere in the Bluegrass.

And since DL has de-hubbed CVG, this frequent traveler to the Ohio Valley has, from time-to-time found reasonable fares for that airport.

appreciate the ideas, I will for sure fly if fares are reasonable.

I won't take the train

Knowing where you live, do you have an idea where this place called Midway Airport can be found?
