How do I get in on the free rounds of drinks that I see being offered above? Do I need to come as an FD again? The brown face paint wasn't all that much fun to scrub off

If you don't want to pay for the overflow hotel, which is far away and expensive, the Howard Johnson and the Days Inn are within a few minutes walking distance, and the Days Inn has an airport shuttle. Combine that with Expedia vouchers and you can stay almost for free.

I stay at my fair share of divey hotels when Wyndham runs a great promo (which sadly they haven't had a good one in awhile), but I still maintain to steer clear of the Days Inn Elk Grove.

As the Chief Charity Raffle Cheerleader, er, Chair, I'm putting a call out for two things:
1) Volunteers to help me sell raffle tickets. Please note that you will not miss any seminar sessions by volunteering. Charity raffle sales occur in the lobby, eating areas, bar, during registration, meals, breakout sessions, after seminar events are done for the day & everyone is in the bar drinking. (Please further note when they're drinking is a great time to ask).

Just to reiterate. I will help out where ever there is a need. I am local and only 15 minutes from the venue. I will even take a day off if needed. Any excuse for a day off. Just email me.

I just tried to to book a room at the overflow hotel and it says there are no rooms available on those dates. Any other hotel suggestions?
