Ski - +1 can probably help. I think you two talked about that in LON

Cheers all
You just have to guess the date the tickets sell out!

If you don't want to pay for the overflow hotel, which is far away and expensive, the Howard Johnson and the Days Inn are within a few minutes walking distance, and the Days Inn has an airport shuttle. Combine that with Expedia vouchers and you can stay almost for free.

upstream mention of the 3 nearby properties: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/18133454-post168.html

I stay at my fair share of divey hotels when Wyndham runs a great promo (which sadly they haven't had a good one in awhile), but I still maintain to steer clear of the Days Inn Elk Grove.

Obviously YMMV (for those that don't know what YMMV or other terms mean, check out the Flyertalk Glossary: http://www.flyertalk.com/glossary/ )

SkiAdcock, I can help sell raffle tickets!

Just to reiterate. I will help out where ever there is a need. I am local and only 15 minutes from the venue. I will even take a day off if needed. Any excuse for a day off. Just email me.

Cool - thanks so much! And again, you won't miss any of the sessions. Ticket sales take place before & after sessions, during breaks/meals/bar time.

If Ingy needs you he can have first dibs. But if he doesn't, I'll take the help. For my stuff no time off from work required.

Cheers.

SkiAdcock, I am not sure that balima would be so interested if he couldn't take a day off from work

I just tried to to book a room at the overflow hotel and it says there are no rooms available on those dates. Any other hotel suggestions?

I am experiencing the same thing. Any idea if more rooms can be added to the overflow hotel block?

if rooms can't be added to the overflow hotel, perhaps a 4some or so of 'current hotel-less' attendees get together, rent a car and stay at most any ORD area hotel?@:-)
