EQM Calculations ...

I'm a little confused as to how the sweep calculated my EQM:

01/15/12 AMERICAN AIRLINES 2222 Y LAX DFW 1,235
01/15/12 AMERICAN AIRLINES 2099 Y ORD LAX 1,745
01/14/12 AMERICAN AIRLINES 1522 Y SFO ORD 1,846
01/14/12 AMERICAN AIRLINES 1835 Y ORD SFO 1,846
01/14/12 AMERICAN AIRLINES 1196 Y LAX ORD 1,745
01/14/12 AMERICAN AIRLINES 2401 Y DFW LAX 1,235
Total: 9652

YTD Elite Qualifying Points 4,828
YTD Elite Qualifying Miles 17,458
YTD Elite Qualifying Segments 6

The segments and total miles are right, but how the hell did they come up with 17,458 EQM?

Maybe give it another 24 hours for the system to catch up. If still wrong, then call AA. Remember, AA is bankrupt and is prolly still using punch cards to process these changes. There might've been a hanging chad in your card.

Seriously, though, I would just wait until the weekend for everything to catch up. The double promos are prolly a complicating shock to AA's network of IBM PS/2s and dot-matrix printers. In fact, AA is prolly the only business to STILL use a dot matrix printer.

Sorry I missed you this morning. Did not have time to stop at ac as I nearly missed the flt itself! I'm up in 4f and met Chrisphx as we were boarding. If you catch me as we deplane, I'll guest u into the SFO ac before I leave the airport.

talked to 3e and 3f, 4e, 5f, and 5b during our 20+ minute delay this a.m. And asked them to contact me on ft with their data for our list. Three were already flyer talkers but were unaware of this thread. Two are not flyer talkers, but say they'll sign up and share their data. On flyertalker and one non flyertalker in this group are doing today's flt as an mr. Two others are heavy-duty business flyers and a bit steamed at us elite exps for diluting their benefits. Quite a lively discussion we had going up in the front during the delay. Most enjoyable!

Travelmi, are you inboard and on gogo?

The first time I checked my account, all flights that should have doubled did. Everything added up. Went to the account 20 minutes later and it looks like DEQAA hit as well. Odd thing is I'm shorted 500 miles, so wondering if the sweep hit everything before a certain time on 1/14. Dunno. I'm tracking it though.

I think that's going to be the key. I have a MONSTER spreadsheet that I'm using to track mine. So, even though I cannot for the life of me figure out what they've done so far (see my numbers in an earlier post) I'm going to wait until everything settles down and if it all irons according to the spreadsheet.

Miles Towards Elite Upgrades 3,692

I'll leave aside the fact that the number of EQMs should be even, since I have taken an even number of flights.

I have taken 3 RTs ORD-SFO, which is (1846*6)= 11076 BIS
Also a RT to LGA: (733+733)= 1466 BIS

No other flights this year. So the segments are right. They even got the separate Gold points bonus right as I crossed over on the 5th ORD-SFO trip (Challenge)

Total BIS is 12540. If doubled, that's 25080. Or going by the EQPs, it should be 6272*2 = 12544, which doubled is 25088.

So some part of the IL/TX/CA bonus has posted, I guess, but it's around 2950, and I can't figure that out. Also not sure about the "miles for elite upgrades" at 3692.
Here's your answer

Yes, something like that looks correct. Thanks.

So overnight Jan 17-18 it appears they swept data for both promos for flights before late afternoon 1/15, my return from LGA.

2+ days behind in my case.

Anyone have DEQAA post through 1/15/12? Or DEQ11 post through 1/14/12?

I have 2980miles that posted to EQM from a ORD-LAX-DFW segment(s) and im not sure if it would have been DEQ11 from the outbound, or just DEQAA from the return.
