FlyerTalk Logo will fly at Reno!!!!
FlyerTalkers are AWESOME!!!!! 230 LIKEs as of this afternoon. Thank you so much for the support. Radial Velocity will proudly fly the FlyerTalk Logo at the 2011 Reno Air Races. An event that brings in close to 200,000 race fans over the five day event. I have not seen the printed decal, but my brother said the Logo looks great.
Keep spreading the word, keep the LIKEs coming in and the donations to the fund. Less than 7 days until the time limit for scholarship fund donations and your chance to ride in Radial Velocity. Time trials start in 9 days, Races start in 11 days. I'll keep the updates coming on Facebook and put out more tweets closer to race time. If you are out there look us up and/or stop by the T-6 pits and say hi. Now let's get ready for the races!!!!!! ^^^^^^^^^ |

headed to Reno
I saw the airplane last night at the National Stearman Fly-In at Galesburg, IL. While the logos are not on the airplane yet, they look great.
John is flying the airplane out to Reno this very minute. Track his flight course and progress on Flight Aware: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N3272G |
John and Radial Velocity landed safely in Reno yesterday.
I will post a picture of the airplane with the logo as soon as I get one. We delayed putting it on until after the flight to Reno. Thank you for your support. |
Are the races televised (either live or tape delay)? The Race's web site only seems to talk about tickets.

Added my like. It's the very least I can do. Ironically, I was in Vegas just earlier today but didn't know about this race. Now I know, though!
Captain Dan, thank you for your support of flying, the flying community & all around it including us here. |

Picture just in from Reno. Flyertalk logo has its own place on the airplane for maximum recognition. Additional pictures were sent to me, but only half-images came across. I'll post more when the come across better.

You're awesome! You added 6 more LIKES as far as I can tell. Thank you for your continued support. For you or anyone who happens to be at the Air Races, stop by and say hi. We'd love to meet our supporters in person. When not flying we can be found in the T-6 pits. All it takes is the purchase of a pit pass to come back there. I'm not sure how much $$ that it is. Dan |
Very nice ^ Good luck at the races!

All right everyone. I managed to make it out here flying standby - not recommended of course. The aviation spirit is in the air and I am excited to be here.
John qualified yesterday in the Gold class - of the three classes, the Gold class hosts the fasted airplanes for each aircraft type. His qualifying time was 238.1mph -his fastest time ever. But to say how close the field is, he placed number four and only .7 seconds behind the fastest qualifier. Yes, 4 aircraft all come within .7 seconds of each other. The Flyertalk logo looks absolutely great on the airplane and it has already brought attention to spectators. http://i.imgur.com/8If7yl.jpg |
