Krakow DO - Aug 24/25/26 2012
Hi folks,
I met with Jason8612 recently in Krakow and we really enjoyed time there. That's why we decided to invite all FTer next year to Krakow to spend a great week-end in Poland together
here's what we have in mind (other than enjoying great food and drinks with FTer):
11:00AM Krakow tour
3:00PM - 6:00PM Free time - Time for you to relax, to get in some more site-seeing, or whatever your heart desires! I can recommend some options if you like.
6:00PM - 7:00PM Tram tour of the city on the Cafe Tram. - A private ride on the tram, showing us historic points of Krakow. We will be able to have a drink, and start the evening.
7:15PM (depending on tram’s arrival) - Dinner. A private dinner in the old town. Chefs will prepare Polish style multiple course dinner. Price includes food, water, tea/coffee, tip. Other beverages will be individual bills. After dinner, there will be an option to go out for a few more drinks.
10:00AM - 12:30PM Sunday Breakfast. Depending on the venue we can arrange, it will be some sort of brunch (12€ average)
12:30PM/1:00PM Two Tour Options
More information on the tours can be found in post #3

just be aware that the saltmine tour on sunday (its a UNESCO world heritage site since 1978 btw) involves at least 64 steps when going down ... you've been warned (elevator at the end of the tour) but even famous people like Chopin, Goethe and Balzak went there ... so you'd be in good company.

It is a bit of some physical work, as not only there are stairs, there is plenty of walking.
