*PLEASE* HELP ME and take 3-4 minutes to fill out a survey for an FFP related study
Hi everyone, I'm collecting data for my Master's thesis at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University regarding FFP currency value in relation to increases in airline capacity. I'm desperate for people who are FFP members to take this short anonymous survey (24 questions and 3-5 minutes long). As "bribery" for those qualified to take this survey (only frequent flyer program members please), and because I really need a high response rate for my research, I'll be giving away a new Google Android 2.1 ePad. If you wish, just enter your email address in the appropriate field at the end of the survey to enter the drawing.

Good luck on your survey. Happy to help out.

Thank you!
Appreciate the help, Tom!

You came to the right place! I completed the survey.
What's the difference between "Elite" and "Super-Elite"? Best of luck in your studies. They sound very fun. |
Thanks Richard!
Well, I was just trying to divide the tier levels into 3 general levels. Such as Silver, Gold, Platinum, etc. But perhaps I could have written it more clearly... Thanks again for the help. Any advice on how I can get it exposed to more members here? I'm not too familiar with flyertalk yet. |
Some airlines have a 4th top tier, yet, and some others have unpublished tiers, so definitions will vary greatly.
There's nowhere else to put it on FlyerTalk. You could put a link to it in your profile's signature then post around FlyerTalk so that more will see your survey link, though as a student, that may not be the wisest use of your time. |
Done. Good luck. :-)

Done it. Look forward to receiving the prize ;)

Answered it. A few comments, if you can edit the questionnaire without messing up the results:
1. Answers to the question "Have you used miles for non-flight awards?" end with "seldom." It should have "never" as a possible answer. 2. The term "round trip segments" is confusing. A flight segment is one takeoff followed (one hopes) by one landing. A round trip, by definition, includes at least two of those. 3. The last two questions, if you think your miles will increase/decrease in value over the next two years, are the same question written two ways. Are you looking for framing effects here? If not, delete one of them. (If you are looking for framing effects, separate them by some other questions on other topics to make their connection less immediately obvious.) |
Completed. Good Luck.

Interesting survey/master's thesis. Let us know what are your final standings.
