I thought about Yu's but Chef Ping is getting the crowds now so I really think that is a better Chinese option than Yu's (not that Yu's isn't good, it still is).

Have not been to Chef Ping yet but looking at their menu it is pretty similar to Yu's (the chinese version) and I expect it to be just as good.

Possibly

Have to be downtown until around 7pm, but could head up that way afterwards.

Happy New Year, everyone!

I may be able to make it. It'll depend on weather since I'll be flying back home that day...

I'd throw a vote in for Wild Fire, course I'm from Iowa and meat/potatoes is always good to me...there isn't a thing there you can order that doesn't taste great too.

Thanks.

I have been to the Pappadeaux in Phoenix. It is about a 1/2 hour drive from Tempe but we drove out there because others insisted " you have got to try the alligator appetizer - I can guarantee it is the best alligator you have ever had". (It was breaded and fried and yes, it tasted like chicken.)
