Anyone get in on the Free Laptops from Google thing? They are sending out 60K of them as part of the beta test for the new Google Chrome operating system. They already sent a bunch out but i didnt enter my application until today* Hope its not too late

I had not heard about it, but I've already got two laptops, so I don't think I would need a third.. (unless it was a mac book air..)

I forgot that you will be there for Christmas. Hopefully it's worth the $140 I payed.. AMEX wanted WAY too many points for a free night :mad:

TY! Hope you get a car, but walking is easy in Kailua-kona, except on aa.

Go to Splashersand ask Indie if you can borrow the "Burger Buggy"- a '74 VW Thing, now festooned in advertising for their great little restaurant/bar.

Earn miles at Bongo Bens- pretty good food. Rougher crowd upstairs at Lu Lu's, also a mile-earner.

Hunt down Lavaman7 and get a tour of his plantation http://itskona.com

It's a fun island, so enjoy!

It is, but since 850 (going back up to 1000) AMEX points = 333 SPG points, it's a better deal to just pay cash for the room. Plus I'll earn some credit towards my SPG gold (soon Platinum) account..

I like c&p, but am using straight points at Four Points SFO for Minion DO if I make it- I did make resv tho

How many points for that, HR SFO is excellent price if not mistaken is $80
