The deadline is the December 1st. I am not inside wharveys head but I would think that it won't be until after that......my thoughts!

As I indicated, December 1 is the deadline... and will take me a bit of time after that.

As I also said, if I get enough early entries I might try to match... but I need a few more... the issues get complicated when so many do not want to ship outside the US... makes it tougher to assign some members.

Patience....

[Marty points to the Table Limit Sign $10 minimum]
Marty: Come on, Griswold, You think that sign is there to hold the table down?
Clark Griswold: What can I do with five dollars?
Marty: Gee, I don't know. Buy a bullet and rent a gun?

SANTA UPDATE:

Santa stayed up all evening and completed all the assignments. 89 different assignments (since many of you request more than one assignment!).

Apologies for the error in a few message that went out... if you had a private message that had two names, THAT IS AN ERROR... and you should have received a corrected private message. At the end of the day, your assignment is the name that appears in the title of the private message. If you are still not sure, let me know.

I hope you enjoy the experience.

Now, to get some sleep....

SANTA UPDATE:

For those of you who requested particular FTers in your assignments, I was able to meet every one of them if they chose to participate with one exception.

Eight of you actually chose wharvey as an assignment... and he was honored to be selected. However, he has chosen to not participate this year... and just manage the process... with the new home move and all...

Thanks again, and hope you enjoy who you got instead!

Thank you Santa's Little Helper for arranging this! Already trying to cook some fun surprises for my giftee

And I hope this isn't too much of a newbie tip but heck, I'm a newbie. I wanted to find out more about my assigned giftee, so I went to their FT profile and found all the posts that they had made. Gave me some really good insight into them, and hopefully will help lead me to a really good gift!

Dear Santa wharvey,

Now that the PM's have been sent, the Elves have started to get to work. This year, I did something I never do. I gave them a pep talk. I told them that we have to step it up this year, especially with Randy retiring from Flyertalk. The Elves got the message. ^ It seems that a live wire has touched their nerves.

I'll keep you updated on our status. By the way, the Head Elf asks that if anyone knows someone at UA WHQ, he'd like to be 1k again.

That's it for now.

Dear Secret Santa -- at The StarMegoDo dinner in Frankfurt, Austria Airlines had a table and gave out red "do not remove..." tags. They were out when I got there and would dearly love to have one. Does Santa accept amendments to my "please give me" list?
