We'll add some fun activites in Queenstown over the weekend also.
That would work better for me, with a risk of missing out on the dinner. But I'd take half a do over no can do any time.

[QUOTE=NZ_Flyer]I feel for you immensely. 3.5 hours drive ZQN to DUD at the hour of the morning. QUOTE]

+1 That drive would be one of the worst/boring in NZ esp from Alex onwards (so whindy and slow!)

I would go for the IVC option personally (3.5-4 hr drive to DUD vs 1.75-2.5 hrs to IVC). Depart 7.40am NZ8078, Depart CHC 9.40am NZ514 & Depart AKL 1pm NZ719 arriving at 2.30.

or if you wanted more time in SYD, depart IVC 6.45am NZ8056, depart WLG for SYD 9.20am NZ885 and arrive 10:50am

Just select the options ignoring Monday night (if Doodle will let you edit). This is more to get a feel for when to do the other stuff since Monday is fixed. Even Air NZ won't dare try tell 25 CEO's their dinner is being moved to another day.

I responded to the poll, but the caveat is that I'm only about 50/50 on being able to go right now...

Will the CHC facilities tour include the JT8D and V2500 overhaul facility, or is it only wholly-owned ANZ facilities?

In Kiwi mainland do 2 a small group was allowed to tour those facilities, so it is possible. However capacity was very limited.

As Kiwi Flyer said, capacity in those facilities is limited. But we're trying to get to as many of the Air NZ (and related) facilities as possible. It may be that the group will be split into smaller groups to take turns at visiting each facility, if required.

I hope to have more details on the tours next week.

All,

Have just received a note from someone who may be able to offer some really exciting tours of some other aviation-related facilities in Auckland! This event really should not be missed, so please spread the word as much as you can via Twitter, Facebook, with your fellow FT friends, etc!

Cheers ^

Have also put in a request to Star Alliance for Meetings Plus to get to this event. If approved, this will mean our ticketing partner will be able to offer you discounted fares (15-20%) off all Star Alliance member flights to Auckland for the DO. ^
