Monday, May 3, 7PM: San Diego dinner in Old Town
AASweets is in town. That gives us a great reason to get together. Let's return to Casa Guadalajara in Old Town. It's got easy parking and good food; just beware of vintage plastic chairs should any get brought in from the patio.

D'oh!
I'm scheduled to be in Ohio on the 3rd or 4th (haven't firmed up the details yet).
If I'm in town, i'll be sure to reply here and would love to meet up with some SD FTers.

I'm looking forward to this dinner. San Diego has special FT memories for me. My first post on FT (in 2001) was to indicate that I would be attending my first Do ... in SAN ... and that Do was organized by ... SanDiego1K. Thanks, Carol, for organizing dinner.

Just say No to plastic chairs. I think they brought those in because we were such a large group and they usually ran out of those uncomfortable wooden Mexican chairs (which are frequently wobbly.)

Terrific! Do I remember correctly that you went to Iceland on the $61 fare mistake? and covered it for SLATE? I'm pretty sure of the first; not so sure on the second. I'm glad that you've stuck with FT since then.
