Soup DO 7 in NYC: Fri, June 11, 2010
OK, now that Dhammer has announced the Tenth (and LAST) BRT it's time for me to announce:
SOUP DO 7!!!! (Yikes, SEVEN of them!)
Date: Fri, June 11, 2010
Time: 8pm (which I hope is agreeable to everyone)
Place: La Bonne Soupe on 48 West 55th Street

After a one year change in venue because of fire La Bonne is back and hopefully the best SOup DO Ever!!!
One of the best NYC dining bargains continues. For about $20-22 with tax you can get your choice of Soup, salad drink and desert (Yes beer lovers they have a few very good brews on tap.)
Reservations are under the name Mark Blanchard. We have two tables set up:
I'm going to do my best to mingle from table to table and try to talk to everyone. That's only fair, right?
****Very IMPORTANT... it is FROWNED upon to come to Le Bonne and just order a drink. There is a minimum order requirement like an entree or soup. IT can be embarassing to your host since this is a dinner. Sorry to be so direct but I was embarassed once before. Luckily I'm on good standing with the restaurant. Thanks for your cooperation****

One final point: Even with the end of BRT I plan Soup Dos at least once a year. I am also happy to do special Soup DOs for special guests in town. Every FT-er should have a dinner in his/her honor.
