Another year on the treadmill ?
 

Well, 2009 is almost out, and as normal it's been a busy one, with something like 80 sectors flown, mostly long haul, and around 120 nights in hotel properties.

I have to say, I'm jaded ! Even a couple of trips on the EK 380 in F failed to get me excited, it was just a nice place to get a few hours sleep. THAT I find rather sad, as a kiddie, the highlight of my year was a 2.30 flight from the UK to somewhere exotic like Majorca. I wouldn't be able to sleep for weeks before, I was SO excited.

So, here's to 2010, and another year of clocking up miles and points, fighting jetlag, and putting up woth this "exotic jetset lifesyle ".

Well, we better suggest something to spice up this long marriage to miles of yours. Fully appreciate where you are coming from but remember, we'll all be there with you all 2010 long. And ... happy holidays.

Imagine there's a bunch of us that jump start 2010 early in the year. I have over 50K booked on AA already over January-February on sale fares (3 Europe trips, 3 domestic trips).

Me too, first away trip is UK - BKK- CGK on the 9th of January, for two weeks followed by UK- Bogota for 10 days, with a Mexico thrown in just to stop the dust gathering on my suitcase !
