How long to transfer to US airways miles ?
Hi,
I know there is a thread about how long it takes for UA miles to post once transferred from CC.
I wanted to know if there are some data points for transfer times to US airways dividend miles program?

Maybe to US it might be because you can buy so cheap but i actually had over 400,000 points from the BnG that I got for less than $400. If converted without a hotel transfer bonus such as 25%-100% it would be 72k miles. Now if we are talking UA miles then YES I think it's a good deal. Last year US ran a hotel transfer bonus where I could have got a 100% bonus. Now that's a DEAL.

Would also love to hear an answer to the time for conversion to div miles.
IMO, the value all depends on how you got your points. I got ~100k points for two stays for about $170. Convert 100k CC points to 18k miles, <1.0cpm, that's good considering additional value of 2 nights. I won't argue that there are not better, more bang for your point ways to redeem, but it depends on your needs at the time.

I'm debating the merit of transferring 200k CC to a total of 54k US miles (incl. bonus). Since I can "buy" miles through various manufactured spend for .3-.6 cent per mile, even if I value 54k miles at .7 cent each, it's worth only $378, whereas four nights of CC could be worth the same, or more. Anyone else has thoughts on this?

50 000 CC points can get hotel rooms worth 200$+. NYC, Chicago, London etc..

I transferred my Wyndham pts to my account, so I think I'll keep my CC points and not transfer them to a family member's account then. It seems CC pts may be more useful, after all.
