does citi do a HARD pull when you ask for a credit line increase on the website?
|
Maybe. :)
If you click on the "request credit limit increase" button and it gives you a form to fill out, if you fill out the form and submit it you'll get a hard inquiry. They will get back to you within a week to ten days and tell you if your increase will be granted. If you click on the button and it says: "congratulations", you get the CLI that comes with the "congratulations" with no hard pull. According to Credtiboards, the Citi CSRs can tell how many times you've clicked the "request credit limit increase" button. |
