After taking 3 Eligible Rides in a calendar month, you will then receive a $10 Lyft credit ("Credit"). Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard credit cardmembers are eligible to receive a credit of up to $120 annually. All rides must be paid for with an eligible Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard. Limit one Credit per calendar month per Lyft account. Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard credit cardmembers are not eligible for any other Mastercard credit on the Lyft app. Rides paid for using Digital Wallets including, but not limited to, Apple Pay, Android Pay, etc., are not Eligible Rides and will not count towards receiving the $10 Lyft credit.

An “Eligible Ride” is any Lyft ride type, excluding business rides and bicycle and scooter rental rides. Valid only in the USA. Whether a ride qualifies as an Eligible Ride for purposes of the Credit will be determined in Lyft’s sole discretion. Credits expire 30 days after application. By participating in the Program, you agree to these terms and Lyft’s Terms of Service (https://www.lyft.com/terms), and you agree that Lyft and Mastercard may share your information for the purpose of tracking and processing the Credit and may use anonymized, aggregated data for business analytics and offer optimization. Credits may take up to 2 days to be applied to your Lyft account.
Per the guide to benefits as quoted above, this benefit appears to be a Card-level benefit, not a Lyft account-level benefit. However, in practice, it appears this credit has been implemented as a Lyft account-level benefit. My wife and I both share a Card and have it linked in our separate Lyft accounts. However, after I took an Eligible Ride, the counter in my app shows progress; the counter in my wife's app does not.

I would have expected that either my wife or I could take an Eligible Ride paid by the Card, and after we've collectively taken three Eligible Rides, one of us would get the credit. However, it doesn't appear this is the behavior.

Avis rentals

My card recently renewed at $450 level but assume the new Avis/Lyft etc benefits are already in place. Can anyone confirm actually receiving $120 back on an Avis or Budget rental? I have a car rental tomorrow and can shift to Avis but I’d rather use a card with primary insurance if the $120 benefit isn’t yet active.

And if it needs to be activated on the website I can’t figure where. TIA

Is the car rental credit really every calendar year or card year? Usually its only Amex that does calendar year, so wanted to double check. Wondering if I could get $120 this year and next as well. Any DPs on getting this credit? How quickly is it done? And can part of an Avis/Budget rental be paid with a Citi card?

Up to $120 Avis® or Budget Statement Credit
Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard credit cardmembers are eligible to receive a statement credit of up to $120 every calendar year when purchases of up to $120 or more made at Avis® or Budget car rentals or both are charged to your card account. The credit will be awarded on car rental spend that is inclusive of time and mileage, taxes, purchases, and other fees.

This statement credit only applies to Avis or Budget brands at participating locations. Car rentals not paid for directly with Avis or Budget will not qualify; for example, car rentals purchased through travel agencies, discount travel sites, vacation clubs, tour operators, or as part of a package offered by merchants, such as cruise lines and railways, will not qualify. The purpose of the car rental must be for driver and passenger transportation. Merchants that provide RV rentals or vehicle rentals for the purpose of hauling are not included in this category.

Statement credit(s) will appear on your Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard monthly billing statement from Citi within 8-10 weeks from when the transaction was posted on your card account. One credit per card account. Applicable terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. To be eligible for this benefit, your Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard card must be open and in good standing at the time of statement credit fulfillment.
This credit would be funded by the car rental companies, not by Citi. The requirement to book direct means that they save the substantial commissions that might be paid to an agency.

Thanks. Do you remember if you had the option to split payments? Wife and I have one each and would love to use both in one rental.

SPLIT BILLING OPTION
Avis also offers a split billing payment option which provides billing flexibility. Customers may split their rental charges on two separate credit/debit cards. In addition, corporate customers have the ability to charge counter products, optional services that are not covered as a company expense to a personal credit card. Customers who wish to split their rental charges on two separate credit/debit cards can choose to split the rental charges by one of the following ways:

Dollar Amount

Rental Days

If traveling with your wife who has a separate AA reservation and is not on my Citi executive card, can she go to the "priority counter" with me (cardholder) for check-in? I called but they will not merge the reservations.

There is no such thing as merging reservations.

I would be surprised if anyone cared if you check in together at the Priority counter.

Has anyone been charged their renewal membership fee yet? I just got mine on 12 Oct 2023 and it was the old $450 rate vs the new $595. I'm no complaining - I was actually watching to see when it hit and was thinking about canceling. But if I'm in at the old rate for another year I'm probably going to keep it. Should I just keep monitoring or was my renewal date just enough before the new one kicked in?

I have no need for a rental car before the end of the year. Anyone try buying a Budget/Avis gift card?

I also had my renewal fee post at $450, no additional charge for my AUs either. I'll be keeping an eye just in case it's a Citi glitch, but otherwise a nice surprise and makes keeping the card obvious.

My Avis credit was also easy to use, and the GrubHub credits have worked as well.
