Citi AA card discussion from 2019 - 2020 is HERE. That thread has an extensive Wikipost, but be aware that much of the content is obsolete.

Current Citibank Business AA card Sign Up Bonus eligibility:
"American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have received a new account bonus for a CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® account in the past 48 months."

Current Citibank Personal AA card Sign Up Bonus eligibility:
"American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have received a new account bonus for a Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® account in the past 48 months."

Business and Personal cards are separated in terms of the SUB exclusions, and the restriction is based upon when you received the bonus.

I would wait until after another statement closes to see if the miles post to the correct account. This type of consolidation could be handled automatically.

Will Citi matches my 60K AA mailer offer?

Applied Citi Aadvantage card one day before the 75k miles public offer. Will Citi match the public offer for their stupid mailer offer? If not, what could be the least damage to get the 75K offer? Cancel and reapply?

Thank you!

Does anyone know how long it takes Citi to post the 10,000 bonus AA loyalty points once the cardholder hits $40,000 spend on the AA Exec card? I know it says 6-8 weeks in the terms, but my guess is that it doesn’t take that long.

Citi® AAdvantage® / Executive World Elite Mastercard® - FYI I did try to match and was told they don't match offers. Let me know if you have better luck.

Anecdotal of course, but mine posted within a day or two of statement close & payment (Exec World Elite Card, balance fully paid on closing date out of habit).

There was a banner in my AA app for a 75K points bonus for applying for the Citi AAdvantage card. Today, the banner only promotes a 50K bonus. Clicking on it leads to a "Page not found 404" error.

Same here. Was too exhausted to apply last night. I need to stop waiting till the last minute.

Unless someone has a private link or some other trick, looks like it's a paltry 50K now. Pffffttt.

And yet, there was plenty of time to take advantage of this offer. I'm forever perplexed why people attempt to wait until the very last moment of the very last day to try and take advantage of these offers, which we all know are short term offers.

The business card is 70k, if that’s of interest.
