Received this offer today. Kind of a high threshold, but I may divert some unbounded and dining spend to the card this month anyway...

It's always nice to see offers and I would never turn it down if there was no other option. Yet this equates to an extra 0.666 TYP per dollar depend.

Just seems so stingy.

Yeah, it still doesn’t make it better than my Amex Gold for grocery and restaurant spend. However I will throw some unbowed spend on the card that would usually go on a Chase Freedom Unlimited.

if the Premier is 3x on Gas/Grocery/Rest/Travel, and has a small uplift on top, that isn't too bad all in, especially since one can often get the fee waived. I don't really use ours much though, since in all those categories we normally have something that individually is better. But if I had to have one all purpose card that is not too bad, and given that its a MC, slight plus for pay a mortgage if one ever gets a discount/FFD on plastiq (which is otherwise mostly worthless now)

Not worth it, since there is Double Cash, which earns 2x.
