Card delivery
A relative applied for and was approved the a Citi Double Cash card. The card didn't arrive after two weeks, so she called for a replacement and was told it would be sent express mail and arrive in two days (a Saturday). It did not arrive in Saturday's mail. She called and the phone system repeated that it was sent express mail for Saturday delivery. She got an agent who said they don't send anything express mail, only FedEx, they don't send anything Saturday delivery and agents have no access to tracking information. When asked why the phone system would say something else, he said it must be a glitch.
Does this make sense? Is there anything sensible to do other than wait to see if it shows up Monday?

They did not arrive Monday. Today's Citi rep says new cards can only be sent by first class mail, not any faster delivery and certainly nothing trackable, and they should arrive in 7-10 business days.
I'm becoming sorry I recommended this card.

They asked us for the address as part of the verify identity questions on Monday's call and it was part of the application, but we should have asked that.
