Application for a Citi credit card before/after a car loan
Apologies in advance if this is not the appropriate forum, I would like to get opinions on the following.
My credit scores are in the 700-750 range. I recently applied for and was approved for a car loan with BMW Financial. The loan is not yet opened so is not reported to any of the CRAs (however the hard inquiry to Experian is.) I plan to establish the car loan in the next month, but in the meantime would like to apply for a Citi AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard. My question, should I apply for the Citi card before or after the car loan is opened?

with your profile, shouldn't matter.
usually, at least in the past, car loan process would incur lots of hard pulls which could scare away cc companies. IF that's a factor, a month here or there is not going to fix. You need to wait longer or convince the underwriter that all those pulls are tied to one loan. Loan reporting/not reporting will not have an impact.
