I received credit at statement close. Airbnb DOES qualify for travel reimbursement.

Can you confirm if Airbnb posted as hotel to earn 3x?

I bought $250 alaska GC, it seems marked as GC now in a transaction. it used to be able to get reimbursed last year. Is it changed now?

Alaska Airlines made this change in mid-2017.

The Wikipost of this thread shows that Alaska Airlines gift certificates were NOT reimbursed under the old benefit:

Report Citi Prestige Success/Fail $250 airline expense reimbursements (2015-2018).

The scope of the new benefit is broader. Please do let us know if it is reimbursed.

Seems like the double credit was up to the Jan statement as my Feb just closed and only had "travel credit"

I know from looking at the older thread that airfare purchases through the ThankYou portal didn't used to qualify because they coded as travel agency... but since they broadened the credit applicability, has anyone seen a purchase through there get reimbursed? Looking to do a combo of points redemption and the credit.

I got my credit via various non-airfare travel-coded purchases, so it should work as the TY Portal bookings code as travel.

From my recent trip, I had my American miles + copay fee ($75) and Shinkansen train tickets reimbursed. Mind you I used the SmartEX app to purchase the Shinkansen tickets from Kyoto to Tokyo. On my Citi statement it showed up as "JRC SMART EX AICHI JPN" and categorized as "Other Travel - PASSENGER RAILWAYS".
