Can confirm that DC Metro/subway fare purchases counted towards the $250 credit.

Another data point, Uber Eats did not work while Uber rides did work. Any idea if reloading an uber balance works for the credit?

Anyone with recent airline gift card transactions? I'm planning to close my Prestige and want to liquidate my credits beforehand.

Which airline? Citi will only recognize gift card purchases as travel if you buy them directly from the airline -and- if the airline uses its primary merchant account to process the transaction. Therefore, experience with one airline tell us little about the results with another.

Alaska may not work, because they created a separate entity to market giftcards.

Delta should work if you buy using a laptop or desktop computer. If you use a mobile device Delta redirects the transaction to CashStar.

American should work.

Does anyone know if having 2 Prestige cards (and paying 2 AFs) entitle you to 2x the travel credit (e.g. is it $250 credit per card account or per individual)?

is citi still going by december statement closing date as the time to when this $250 credit is refreshed, or is it 1 January every year right now?

DP: Purchase $150 delta gift card ($50x3 ) on January 8th, 2023 from my laptop and spend category showing as "Miscellaneous - Poi Funding Transactions" No reimbursement so Im guessing the delta gift card is dead. Might just buy cheap one-way delta ticket with this $250 travel credit and add airline credit from amex platinum LoL

Who processed the transaction, Delta Air Lines or CashStar? It won't matter is CashStar included the word "Delta" in the description.

The credit is about as easy to use as that of the CSR. Even someone taking just a single trip a year should have no problem using it without resorting to giftcard antics, and presumably a holder of Citi Prestige would be that kind of person. Jumping through all these hoops, are you sure it's the right card for you?
