I'm Preferred Rewards with BoA and haven't really noticed any difference in the service vs before becoming Preferred. Still long hold times and inconsistent reps.
On the other hand, at least BoA has 100% U.S based customer service reps, and I don't remember the last time I had a non U.S rep with Chase (although I rarely call them). Whatever vendor Citi uses for their customer service is awful and it's time for a change... Like now. The bank literally embarrasses itself left and right. Time for a new CEO.
