Credit Line Increases
This is very odd, but according to the Chatbot on the website:
Q. When requesting a credit limit increase, is the credit inquiry a hard or soft credit inquiry?
A. Unfortunately, until we process the request, there isn't a way for us to know if a credit line increase request will be a soft or hard hit on your credit report. For this reason, we have to receive your permission to pull a copy of your credit report before we process the increase request. If you process the request online, you will see a message stating "By submitting this form, you authorize Citibank, N.A. to obtain your credit report."

To request an increase online:
In order to request an increase, you will need to go to your “Credit Home” page, and find “Available Credit” at the top of the page. Then, click on the link that says “Request Increase” to begin the process.

Do they still assess a foreign transaction fee on purchases in USD that are made from merchants outside the U.S.? (Amex does not, for example)

I only use mine at the beginning of each month at a US grocery or pharmacy.

I have other cards for International use.

We just opened a new Sears MC card after closing it years ago. We'll see it Sears can make it. If Citi PC it to any of the ThankYou card, we'll be just fine.

How much spend were you putting on it between opening and when the first targetted spend showed up? That was 10 mos right of waiting, right? Thanks for the data point

Are the points from Sears card expiring? After I combined my TYP accounts I see that there is an expiration date on the points from this card set to 12/31/2021. I don't remember whether there was an expiration date, when accounts were separate.

Sears SYYW points have really bizarro expiry dates, so perhaps the Sears TYP have shorter lifespans than Banking TYP's (3 years) or Card TYP (card has to be open or 90 days).

At this point I'd suggest that SYYW pts are really more like Kohls Kash, just modest discounts on pouring more money down the rathole known as Sears.

How long does it take for bonus points to post? My statement closed few days ago, and I only received regular points, but not bonus.

Based on various internet sources, the card has been discontinued, at least for new applications.
