Credit Line Increases
This is very odd, but according to the Chatbot on the website:
Q. When requesting a credit limit increase, is the credit inquiry a hard or soft credit inquiry?
A. Unfortunately, until we process the request, there isn't a way for us to know if a credit line increase request will be a soft or hard hit on your credit report. For this reason, we have to receive your permission to pull a copy of your credit report before we process the increase request. If you process the request online, you will see a message stating "By submitting this form, you authorize Citibank, N.A. to obtain your credit report."

To request an increase online:
In order to request an increase, you will need to go to your Credit Home page, and find Available Credit at the top of the page. Then, click on the link that says Request Increase to begin the process.

I have the SWY card and made a purchase on 9/4. Still haven't got the points yet. The points usually show up the next day after the charges cleared. Anyone experience this before? Thanks.

Oddly enough, I did not get any offers this month (they usually come on the 15th of each month).

I just got a new card in the mail, which has been "upgraded" to a World Mastercard. Same card, same number, just different designation.

Does the $10,000 yearly cap for category spending apply to all cards, SYW and ThankYou? Does it include all spending from promotions too?

I was hoping I'd get the GGR promo back as I didn't have it last quarter. No new online spending after Sept 15 so my only remaining promo was Utilities which I'm not doing any more prepay in Oct.

I saw I hadn't seen the email from earlier today:

10%
back in statement creditson total eligible gas station, grocery store and restaurant purchases of $700 or more made each month (up to a maximum total of $80 in statement credit(s) each month) using your Shop Your Way Mastercard from 10/1/2023 (or the date you activate this offer, whichever is later) through 12/31/2023.

Super stoked! I had this Q1 and Q2 but not Q3. Now I have it for Q4!

(And I have received $50 each month for 3 months by paying my utilities at $500 each month. And I am halfway through getting $250 in points for $800 in online spend by mid-Oct. )

Activate this offer and you can earn
10%
back in statement credits
on total eligible gas station, grocery store and restaurant purchases of $800 or more made each month (up to a maximum total of $90 in statement credit(s) each month) using your Shop Your Way Mastercard from 10/1/2023 (or the date you activate this offer, whichever is later) through 12/31/2023.
