Any ideas on using twitter to push the app through? Has anyone done that? Any thoughts?

Just called Citi: Apparently there were multiple applications which is why it didn't get an approval. My last app was a personal back on January 23rd however My wife used the same biz id to apply for the aa biz plat earlier this week. Does the 90 day rule apply for the biz tax id or the person's SSN?

Those that have been successful in getting AA Business and Hilton on the same day, were you eligible to do a 3rd card on day 8?

Has your approval letter or new card mailing mentioned the 50k? Just approved for the 8a biz card but no mention of bonus on either paperwork. It is my first MC biz but previously held a visa and closed 1yr ago.

Any idea whether the 90 day rule apply for the biz tax id or the applicant's SSN? My wife applied earlier this week - instant approval. I applied 03/30 and recon said multiple apps were submitted.... we applied using link 8a under the same business.

Wife got the biz card a couple of months ago when it was a 2k spend for 50k. Approval letter did not mention 50k but the miles posted a few days ago.

Data Point

Despite multiple CSRs telling me about multiple apps on my recent busines app, one CSR was able to push it through. Confirmed the offer for 50K after 3k spend.

No, the acceptance letters for our business cards have not mentioned the bonus and I sent an SM on the latest and confirmed the 50K after $3K spend. The others all posted.

I just got an email urging me to complete my spending on this card so I can get the 50,000 mile bonus:

"Your dream destination could be closer than you think.

Earn 50,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after spending $3,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of cardmembership."

I don't think I've ever gotten such an email before.

So here is my Citi n00b question: Applied for personal and business on Jan 26. Was denied, one on merits one on duplicate grounds. Applied again, mistakenly, for business on March 31. Didn't wait the 90+ days. Was denied as duplicate. Read the wiki and dont know if i can apply for personal 8 days from march 31 or am I on the sidelines for personal for 60 days and/or business for 90 days?

It is something they have started doing in the last 6 months or so. I get them even after completing the spend sometimes.
