At the normal 1000:500 transfer rate 20,000 Elevate points is the equivalent of 40,000 miles on most other airlines. That doesn't seem to be a remarkable value for a one-way economy cabin flight. Even with the current promotion you would need to transfer 32,000 TYP to have 20,000 Elevate points. How many SQ miles are required for the same flight?

SQ uses a tiered award chart, Saver, Standard, Full. For JFK-FRA the one way miles are:

Saver
Economy 17,000
Business 48,875
First 57,375

Standard
Economy 34,000
Business 68,000
First 105,400

Full
Economy 46,750
Business 204,000
First 391,000
