Which websites qualify for 3X points?

3 ThankYou Points for each $1 spent on purchases made at eligible retail (including department store websites, specialty store websites, warehouse store websites and boutique websites) and travel websites (including online travel agencies, and hotel and airline websites).

3 ThankYou Points for each $1 spent on products and services purchased directly from AT&T, including payment of monthly phone, cable or internet bills.

You'll earn an Anniversary Bonus of 10,000 ThankYou Points after you spend $10,000 in purchases in the prior cardmembership year.

Special note about eBay and PayPal - varies widely as to whether the bonus points are awarded. It seems to vary depending on merchant with no real discernible pattern.

Certain Non-Qualifying Purchases. You won’t earn 3X Points for purchases of and payments for medical services, insurance, taxes and government services, real estate, real estate rentals, purchases or reloading of prepaid or gift cards, education, charities and utilities.
You won’t earn 3X Points for purchases from independent wireless dealers, non-AT&T-owned stores, or AT&T resellers unless you are paying for an AT&T service, such as your phone, cable or internet.
(Effective 9/22/2019)

All payments coding as online are hit and miss. Sometimes it codes as online, sometimes it doesn't. YMMV.

Ah, I forgot about that one. I guess if I"m just doing purely MS it could work out. How many points does it give? You have to factor in the fees of the VGCs if that's what you use to MS online.

Can anyone with "AT&T Access" confirm if product change is possible to "AT&T Access More"?

During my latest attempt to PC, Citi rep cited that only way to get AT&T Access More is upgrading AT&T Access (free version). I trust flyer-talk community more than what rep was stating. Otherwise it seems PC option is gone for good.

I personally think this is one of the best cards out there. Spending online to me is really the way to go. Items show up at your door without having to waste travel time.

To essentially earn for 3.75% travel equivalent on most online purchases is pretty amazing. Hitting $10k per year to get an additional 10k pts worth $125 to more than cancel out the annual fee is just gravy. I always believe there's a reason why cards arent available any more.
From what I see on the market, there isnt a single other card from anyone else that matches this type of return for online purchases. Sure some transactions dont code as 3x but I test out transactions to see which don't.

That's why I think anyone with this card shouldnt ever dare to cancel it.

But to earn 5% equivalent or even much more on Amazon (through several Chase avenues, including 5x UR points transferable to several airlines 1:1) is even more amazing, and some people find they can buy almost anything they need to buy online through Amazon.

So it would seem to me, if someone is already using another card for even better return on Amazon, that for such a person it depends on how many things they buy online that they can't get on Amazon. And that's what might change drastically from one person to the next.

For me, it's only a few hundred a year most years I spend onliine on what I don't buy on Amazon -- and that's mostly from online camera store retailers which only seem to work via PayPal, if at all, with the AT&T Access cards for 3x/2x -- plus an occasional used CD on ebay -- and that level of spend doesn't seem to make a $95 AF card worth it for me for an extra few hundred points per year (at one extra point per dollar compared to the no AF card)..

Plus it depends on how they travel. Buying trip using credit card points through a portal can be a good value for coach, but it's not likely to compete with transferring points to the right airline if your goal is to fly business class (or above).

Does At&T Access More (by itself) allow you to transfer 1:1 to multiple airlines, or do you have to hold yet another $95/year card (Citi TYP Premier) to be able to do that? If only the latter, it might depend on whether you also hold the Premier as to whether the Access More card works for you. If you can only transfer Chase UR to airlines, but can only use Citi TYP through a booking portal, and you're mostly interested in business class (or above), then this card might have less for you than if you're mostly interested in coach for which the booking portal works well.

This card was great when it had a lot of transfer partners. Citi has gutted transfer options so I’m getting rid of this one and Prestige.

The ATTAM basically covers the $95af since you get 10k typ for spending $10k. 3x for "online retailers" is so crazy in today's world (prob not so much when it first came out years ago)

Hasn't been long. This card had a remarkably short life. Introduced in April 2015, discontinued by July 2016.

And I am still saddened by this! I loved my Citi Hilton Visa Card way better than the AMEX version(s). I wish Jud Linville the best in his future endeavors but I hope that this marks the beginning of Citi really updating and adding new features and transfer partners to the Thank You Rewards Program. Who ever they get to replace him, I he/she comes in with an "taking it back" attitude. Citi can re-claim AA as a exclusive co-brand cc partner and this is wishful thinking, but would be nice to take back Hilton. I have been with Citi for years and is still awaiting AA as an airline partner. I think Thank You Rewards are going to be the rewards to have soon.

Hilton is out of the running, since Hilton is now tied exclusively to Amex.

The only realistic hope is that Citi finds other hotel partners for TYP, at the very least some overseas hotel programs that don't have any credit card in the US (parallel to the main way they've chose most airline partners).

By far my favorite card. Unlimited 3x for online purchases? I've probably made close to 1.5 million TYPs running online arbitrage purchases through it.

For ebay and other retailers i can get 3x TYP online plus 6%+ in fuel rewards from a regional grocer. If I want to walk into the grocer's gas station for in person amazon gc i can do 3x typ (or amex edp) plus 6% in fuel. Going into the grocery store itself using OBC or 4500 on the EDP as well for ~5% or 4.5 MR. 5x is amazing at staples and OM, but if you can take advantage of using the fuel i think that has the edge. I also like MR over UR (both over typ). This of course requires you to live near one of these stores to take advantage of it. So you would need to live between Indianapolis and ~harrisburg.

Well in preparation for using it on the new iphone coming soon I SM'ed Citi for confirmation and they replied the credit expired in 2017... anyone have a copy of the T&C stating the offer does not expire until used? I had an SM confirming that awhile back but looks like Citi messages don't store that long..

Any success lately converting to the card either directly or from the regular Access? The reps still seem to be blocked by the computer when trying to directly convert when I call them.
