Transition-Related Notes
• Members are starting to receive Priority Pass Select cards in the mail. These are sent by Collinson via USPS, separately from the rebranded Prestige cards.
• There was a decimal rounding error in the ThankYou point accounting on October statements. Remove a 0 from each of the totals reported - it should then match
• Members who signed up prior to 10/18 still only receive a $250 airline credit for the year; if you previously used the $200 incidental credit, you can get another $50 in airline purchases reimbursed through December.
• If you signed up before 10/18/14 you are eligible to receive the 15% discount and companion benefits for a year after your signup date. Call Citi at 877-288-2484 and ask to speak with a travel specialist, rather than letting them send the information to Spirit Incentives for an email quote. There are mixed reviews as to the efficacy of this service.

My assumption is that they figured that since the Flight Point program was ending, there was no reason just to clear out those balances and not bother with additional coding to break out FP earning with the new category bonus multipliers. Or, they could have just dropped the ball. Neither answer would surprise me.

I went to a Citi Bank in Sunnyvale and I was able to submit an in branch app. At first the banker mentioned that it was only for Citi Gold members only but I told him that a friend was able to app it and get the offer by leaving the Citi Gold # section blank. After that, the banker was still skeptical but allowed me to fill out the application.
Told me it would take about 2 weeks to get the card.

JFTR, my SO got her GE fee reimbursed by Prestige. I already had GE, so we applied for her GE and it was covered.

If the travel purchase is refunded, does Citi claw back the travel credit reimbursement?

Is there any way to get the 60k offer in an area outside of the Citibank footprint? The area I'm in (Seattle) doesn't have any branches. Has anyone had any luck getting the offer over the phone or should I call a branch out of my area?

I've had the opposite - a friend tried to call for the offer and they had no clue what he was talking about. They claimed the best offer available was the one on the website.

call in a branch and ask them to email you an application for this offer, fill it out and email/fax it back to the rep. I know someone who did that and got the card.

Finally took the plunge and am approved for Citi Prestige. I look forward to transferring the 30K TYP to 45K HH. I also like access to AC again. The $250 for airlines is great. While some benefits duplicate Amex Plat, there is still enough distinctive benefits to justify the remaining $200 fee, at least for the first year. Also, bundled with Citi AAdvantage MC and Citi Hilton Reserve makes this a total package for me. I have never had a bad experience at a Hilton and relatively no complaints with AA.

Newbie Question
Used Advanced Search without success: Does anyone know the following?I intend to purchase tickets for various attractions on Viator.com. Will Viator code as a tourist attraction for the 2X TYP with the Prestige Card?

The Wikipost of this thread shows that Barclays Arrival treated a viator.com purchase as eligible for reimbursement as travel. Post 68 tells you the name of the member who added that information to the Wiki, and s/he may be able to lookup the actual merchant classification which is what will determine how Citi treats it.
