Transition-Related Notes
• Members are starting to receive Priority Pass Select cards in the mail. These are sent by Collinson via USPS, separately from the rebranded Prestige cards.
• There was a decimal rounding error in the ThankYou point accounting on October statements. Remove a 0 from each of the totals reported - it should then match
• Members who signed up prior to 10/18 still only receive a $250 airline credit for the year; if you previously used the $200 incidental credit, you can get another $50 in airline purchases reimbursed through December.
• If you signed up before 10/18/14 you are eligible to receive the 15% discount and companion benefits for a year after your signup date. Call Citi at 877-288-2484 and ask to speak with a travel specialist, rather than letting them send the information to Spirit Incentives for an email quote. There are mixed reviews as to the efficacy of this service.

Few weeks later I received a letter in the mail saying I can enjoy extra benefits such as no late fee, no return payment fee and a lower annual fee of $350.
Also one can always try calling a Citibank branch directly. I'm sure they get bonuses for approved applications. Someone might be interested in helping out and submit the app over the phone.

Got my $250 credit for 2014 by purchasing a $250 United Airlines Gift Certificate.

For the companion ticket, was there always a restriction stating you could only book 6 months in advance?
I tried to book for travel in July and was told by the concierge that I would need to wait until January. Seems a bit odd.

Yes, first reported mid-November. In process of modifying a business card to fit inside rather than trying to write in the space provided.

No, this was not a restriction when the process was managed online with Spirit Incentives. I booked a companion ticket in 2014 for travel ten months later.

I had already used up the entire $250 credit (the original $200 + the additional $50) by my November statement's closing, and that statement indicated that the credit would reset on 12/15/14.

My December statement that closed yesterday says the same thing. I'm going to assume this is just a typo that is going to appear on everyone's statements this month.

I sent a SM and the response I received is:
"The Airline Statement Message for your Citi Prestige card is incorrect on your monthly billing statement. The message should display 2014, not 2015. This will be fixed with the January billing cycle.
The message states:
Congratulations you have made the most of your flight experience!
You have used your $250.00 Air Travel Credit for the year.
The credit will reset to $250.00 after your December 2015 billing cycle.
When it should state:
Congratulations you have made the most of your flight experience!
You have used your $250.00 Air Travel Credit for the year.
The credit will reset to $250.00 after your December 2014 billing cycle."

Is there a way to know ahead of time which in-flight purchases are reimbursed? Is this airline specific? I bought a good amount of snacks for my family on a RT transcontinental flight on AS two weeks, but the charges (ALASKA AIR IN FLIGHT SEATTLE WA / Restaurants - FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS) were not included in the "Congrats! Citi Air Travel Credit" line of my statement.
