Transition-Related Notes
• Members are starting to receive Priority Pass Select cards in the mail. These are sent by Collinson via USPS, separately from the rebranded Prestige cards.
• There was a decimal rounding error in the ThankYou point accounting on October statements. Remove a 0 from each of the totals reported - it should then match
• Members who signed up prior to 10/18 still only receive a $250 airline credit for the year; if you previously used the $200 incidental credit, you can get another $50 in airline purchases reimbursed through December.
• If you signed up before 10/18/14 you are eligible to receive the 15% discount and companion benefits for a year after your signup date. Call Citi at 877-288-2484 and ask to speak with a travel specialist, rather than letting them send the information to Spirit Incentives for an email quote. There are mixed reviews as to the efficacy of this service.

And yes, the $350 fee is only for Citigold and Private Bank clients.

When calling into Citi for the companion fare - do both the cardholder and the companion ticket holder also receive mileage as if the ticket is a revenue fare?
Hoping to combine this with other offers for a double AA status run

Interestingly enough, on 10/17 I booked Delta ticket with Air France miles (transferred from Citi) from TLV to SFO and back, and paid $90 in taxes using Prestige card. They awarded me 14800 flight points, refunded the taxes, and also gave me 3x points on taxes. The ticket is not just completely free, they paid me for buying it! This is incredible!

I booked a companion ticket on AA (albeit via Spirit Incentives), and both members received mileage. It appeared on AA.com as any other revenue ticket would, and was upgradable with mileage instruments, .etc.

Does anyone know if the 2x on Dining & Entertainment applies to purchases at establishments outside North America?

If I purchased a flight for someone else, do I still get the $250 airfare reimbursement?

Anyone use 4th day free benefit after 10.18.2014? Is it same as before? I used this benefit before change and got stay credit and points. But now I cannot find the old website I use to check hotels.
Can we use this one? All hotels has fourth day complimentary, right? Thanks!

Close. I interpret it to mean that transactions which post after your December statement closes will generate a credit from the 2015 benefit, even if the transaction was made before the December statement date. I have had some airline purchases remain in pending for a couple weeks.

so i just buy the Travel Gift Card from aa.com prior to close of statement in December; then I automatically get the travel credit, just like that; no calling in, etc..

I just received my new Citi Prestige card Friday. I thought I had to call in to activate the $250 Airline Credit benefit. When I spoke to the rep today, she told me that I didn't need to do that any more and that it was already active.
Does this sound right or do I need to call in to another rep?
Thanks!

Anyone can share how to apply the card with 350 AF but without citi gold account. The people I talked think I am crazy because I don't have account with citi but want to take advantage of citi gold. They told me they can't do the application there

You can also apply as global client in branch. Also 350 AF with 60K bonus.
