Transition-Related Notes
• Members are starting to receive Priority Pass Select cards in the mail. These are sent by Collinson via USPS, separately from the rebranded Prestige cards.
• There was a decimal rounding error in the ThankYou point accounting on October statements. Remove a 0 from each of the totals reported - it should then match
• Members who signed up prior to 10/18 still only receive a $250 airline credit for the year; if you previously used the $200 incidental credit, you can get another $50 in airline purchases reimbursed through December.
• If you signed up before 10/18/14 you are eligible to receive the 15% discount and companion benefits for a year after your signup date. Call Citi at 877-288-2484 and ask to speak with a travel specialist, rather than letting them send the information to Spirit Incentives for an email quote. There are mixed reviews as to the efficacy of this service.

Look at your account on thankyou.com and ignore the statement this month. There is apparently a decimal shift error in printing statements. Scroll back to post 436 and read forward.

Considering Prestige as SQ has been added to transfer partners. As far as lounge access goes, my understanding is:

(Citi Prestige) + (DL SkyClub) = (Citi Executive AAdvantage) + (Amex Plat)

As a DL Plat who flies DL mostly internationally (have lounge access through status), I can essentially cut the AF to half? Am I missing something?

I do not have my new Citi Prestige cards or PP cards. However, I did get a notice about ten days ago that because of a national retailer's security breach (maybe Home Depot?) that my account # would change and new cards issued. I received my new account number cards Saturday via USPS. They are the original Prestige design, not the new design. I am a legacy Chairman MasterCard account that was transitioned to Prestige in 2013.

I called late on a Sunday night and was transferred from the concierge to customer service to verify my eligibility, then transferred back to a different concierge, then transferred to a flight specialist.

The restrictions seem to be the same as the Spirit Incentives website in that they can only book the cheapest available flight, but if you identify a specific flight that seems eligible and share it with the representative, that may speed up the process.

I spent 45 minutes on the phone (in part because it took several tries to get the flight specialist to understand that I wanted a one-way flight, and sat there silently for several minutes apparently waiting for me to tell him a return date after I'd already explained I didn't have one…). Ultimately I didn't end up booking my flight through them - partially my own fault I think because I was also looking at the AA website and I think that took the last seat out of inventory at the price they could book at. I went with a DL flight instead that was a few dollars more expensive - I probably could have asked if they could book that one for me but after 45 minutes I was over it.

Does that count as air travel for the purposes of points?

Unless you are a new card member since 10/18/2013. For companion pass, you must have not used yours in current membership year.

I had similarly challenging experiences. It does not seem that they are well prepared to handle these bookings. Ultimately flights did get booked though.

It is listed as "BUSINESS SERVICES,NOT ELSEWHERE CLASSED" so it will almost certainly not automatically result in 3x points. I'm sure citi would honor if one called them about it.

Possibly http://www.tenlifestyle.com/ wonder if they do the concierge for Citi and also the companion or they just do the charge for the companion but use Spirit Incentives to do the booking.

I have used the card with new card design several times. My biggest complaint is the magnetic stripe in front and kind of hidden - every single time i had to explained to them about that at restaurants. It got annoying.

Many Chase cards have clean fronts but the stripes are still in the back.
