Transition-Related Notes
• Members are starting to receive Priority Pass Select cards in the mail. These are sent by Collinson via USPS, separately from the rebranded Prestige cards.
• There was a decimal rounding error in the ThankYou point accounting on October statements. Remove a 0 from each of the totals reported - it should then match
• Members who signed up prior to 10/18 still only receive a $250 airline credit for the year; if you previously used the $200 incidental credit, you can get another $50 in airline purchases reimbursed through December.
• If you signed up before 10/18/14 you are eligible to receive the 15% discount and companion benefits for a year after your signup date. Call Citi at 877-288-2484 and ask to speak with a travel specialist, rather than letting them send the information to Spirit Incentives for an email quote. There are mixed reviews as to the efficacy of this service.

I think your confused!!!
It looks nice but MasterCard has once again allowed Citi to implement significant card design changes which could cause problems at POS. I could be wrong but any card have mag on front? chip on back? and no global hologram? Last I checked, MC required hologram security on front or back or integrated into the HoloMag stripe. I think to simplify usage, strip should be on back and chip on front. And while it looks nice and says World Elite, every card is World Elite these days including $250 Barclay and Capital One accounts. The one surprise is no mention of metal/carbon fiber card, so it must be plastic not that I care but expected it.

2 chase palladium
3. Visa Stratus
4. Citi Chairman- which is still around

Every card is not a Mastercard world Elite.I think you are a little confused. Yes there are other mastercard world elite but they do not carry the same benefits. This is a card that will only show it true colors if you are going to spend 100,000 or more a year. If you do not spend that much or fly 5 times or more a month your just wasting your money. Insurances and benefits net jets is where you make you money. If you use your logic the chase palladium card is also just a visa signature which if you look is below world elite mastercard. In terms of just a world elite vs visa signature. World elite is better but chase palladium card ranks as one of the top three credit cards in the US because of many things.

I just came from an oversea's trip and noticed some pro-rated annual fees refunded on my prestige account. $400 annual fee was changed in May and now $350 is refunded (posted in Aug as of May). I also received a new prestige card in the mail (with the famous nicely wrapped black box) while I was gone. Nicely surprised but curious if the fee refunded was due to the change of T&C?

Is your card the same design or is it the new design? (I thought the cards with the new design were not going out until October.)

The new card looks exactly like the old one. Both are chip card. The new card has the same number as the old one and came with a small paypass card.

Yes, I did successfully get reimbursed for 2 AA gc's @ $75 each and 1 United gc @ $50, all purchased via their respective airline websites. Note that this is an older data point from January 2014, but I haven't heard of any reason it wouldn't still work. I don't remember why I did it in those particular denominations so I can't speak to whether $100 gc's would work, but I'd have no reason to believe they wouldn't.

India Visa Infinite
I like the design of the new U.S. card arriving in October, but I would take Visa over MasterCard if given a choice.

A few quick questions before I apply. I've read through the threads and the app site, but I just wanted to make sure I'm getting everything right, from the pros!
-I can still get the companion ticket till October 18.
-after October 18 $250 air fare credit applies. Net $50 after 2014 and 2015 credits minus AF.
So the bennies include, but are not limited to: companion ticket, net $50, 30K sign up bonus and 1.33-1.6 TYP bonus, is this right? Thx!
