Citi Forward up to 30,000 sign up bonus+

I googled this about 5 months ago. What I found was a landing page for a Forward card. It was 10,000 TYP's after $500 spend in 90 days. Then another 10,000 TYP's 91-180 days with $500 spend. Then another 10,000 TYP's after $500 spend 180-270 days. Also 100 TYP's each month account is paid off in full.
I applied and have received my 2nd 10,000 TYP's quarterly bonus and the 100 TYP's for paying off bill each month. My wife applied 40+ days ago and received her first 10,000 TYP's plus 100 TYP's for monthly payment.
When you activate the card Citi does confirm everything INCLUDING the 5%, just ask. Citi has been known for keeping its word on open sites.
Here is the application page it appears targeted toward college students but I haven't been to college in many years.
If this in the wrong forum Mods please change.

How long has this link been active? If the original poster has had it well into his second quarter, it's been at least 30-40 days, probably more. Any idea when it might expire? Hopefully it'll last like the Chase PC 80K.

The link has been active for 120+ days that I know about. Good luck.

The link you posted is the app page.

This page lists one offer - http://creditcards.citicards.com/usc...2234FA31F6C059
The link says the spend is 500 in first 90 days, 1000 in months 4-6, and 1500 in months 7-9

Welcome to FlyerTalk tankerooooo, and thank you for posting the terns which disclose this tradeoff:

Earn 2 ThankYou Points for every $1 spent at restaurants and on books, movies and music. Get 1 point for every $1 you spend on all other purchases.
The standard version of this card earn 5 points per dollar in those categories.

The primary discussion thread for the standard version is here:

Yes thank you for the whole thing. Though it is a different link with different %'s. It also looks different than the link I used. All I had was the apps page and that's why I did it myself to make sure it worked.
Ps I've been getting the 5% for the restaurants, I also used it for other items? My app. page may be from a older version but it still works?

LAST MONTH
Base Points Earned 402
Bonus Points by Category Earned 1,194
Merchant Bonus Points Earned 0
CardMember Bonus Points Earned 100
Points Adjusted 0

Total ThankYou Points Earned This Billing Period 1,696

Below in the T&C, it says:

Unless you are participating in a limited-time offer, you will earn five ThankYou Points for every dollar you spend on purchases at (1) book stores, (2) record stores, (3) restaurants, including fast food restaurants, (4) motion picture theaters, and (5) video entertainment rental stores ("qualifying merchants"). You will earn one ThankYou Point for every dollar you spend on all other purchases. Book stores are defined as stand-alone merchants that primarily sell, for consumer use, books (including textbooks), magazines, maps, and calendars. Record stores are defined as stand-alone merchants that primarily sell, for consumer use, records, compact discs (CDs), music and video laser discs, and blank audio and videotapes. Restaurants, including fast food restaurants, are defined as stand-alone merchants that primarily prepare food and drinks for immediate consumption by consumers, either on the merchant's premises or packaged for carryout. Motion picture theaters are defined as stand-alone merchants that operate movie theaters, and sell tickets as well as refreshments. Video entertainment rental stores are defined as stand-alone merchants that primarily rent videotapes, laser discs, DVDs, and video games for consumer use at home.

This is a $3000 spending requirement for 30K ThankYou points, but I love the 5x at restaurants.

For some reason, this version of Citi Forward yields only 2 TYP for books, restaurants and NOT 5.

The link (in the middle of the page) said:

But at the bottom, in the terms:

I received this offer in the mail yesterday as well.

Don't know much about the Citi CC's, haven't really looked at them much
and not really sure if this is a good offer (30K didn't seem that great to me).

But they are def. still sending (targeting) via mail as well.

Has anyone who claimed this offer had it long enough to see a statement? Do the rewards credit at 2x like the large print or 5x like the fine print?

Welcome to Flyertalk. Scroll back to post 7 in this thread and note that the same member who started the thread mentioned receiving 5 points per dollar in those categories.
