does anyone who if gift cards are selected as the redemption ($500) if the cards have a person's name on them or are they just generic gift cards.

Any insights would be very much appreciated.

What did you do to get both?

I applied for them both, essentially seconds apart from one another, and got the MC but denied the Visa because of a duplicate application.

GF just got a targeted offer for 80K with a $2500 spend / 3 months in the mail. I've read one other report upthread of a 100K offer. Anyone else seeing these higher numbers?

Just the normal way... used 2 different browsers but it wasn't a few seconds apart, maybe a couple of minutes apart.

Friend just got an 80k offer. Guess there are a few higher than 50k that are floating around targeted out there.

I was targeted for 100k. It requires $5000 spend in 3 months. It came via snail mail.

Interesting. I was considering having her call in and ask for the higher bonus, but $5K / 3 months is a very steep spend for her (and I have other 'projects' I'm working on).

Denied by Citi
Got a letter in the mail today saying they couldn't approve due to:

"Too many recent credit inquiries are recorded on your credit bureau report"

I went through this thread but didn't see any other rejections. I applied for this card the same day as five others, it looks like three pulled from Experian. Last credit card app was over 90 days ago before this round. Anything I can do to get this approved? Thanks.
