Choice Computer Glitches AGAIN!!!
 

Just got an eMail from Choice:
Congratulations, You've Reached Elite Diamond Status!

Now what's funny is I've been Diamond for a couple of years now and I only have 20 nights so far this year. Now this happened latter in the year last year and I figured they were comp'ing my status as other chains had been doing, so I finished off the year making Diamond with Hilton and Platinum with Marriott and Starwood. Come January, they dropped my status. I called and complained and they did bestow Diamond for this year.

Choice has dropped the ball several times and it's things like this that make me wonder their program is not worth worrying about. If I make status, then fine.

Got the same email tonight. I have been diamond for years, and qualified about 3 months ago for next year. Very under exicted about their new promotion of say 3 consecutive nights. Oh Choice, I'm losing interest.

Is this promo for real and did you find any info other than here on FT?

I haven't found this info anywhere else other than flyertalk. However, most rumors found on here, atleast the choice hotels thread, have been very accurate.

OK I will bite - what is the stay 3 promo?

Happened to me as well-I've been gold for several years but only had 7 nights year to date.

The rumor is 8,000 points for a three-night stay. Very disappointing, if that's the case.
