There was a 6000-8000 point hotel list on the old website (circa 2015), I even saved it, but it's pretty much useless now since many hotels have been deflagged, the redemption rates have changed many times and are still fluctuating on a whim.

I agree with the others, there is no easily available resource. You have to manually search, one hotel at a time. Spoiler alert -- you probably don't want to stay in any US-based Choice hotel that only costs 6k a night.

I would be skeptical of a 6,000-point hotel in Manhattan or the Chicago Loop or downtown San Francisco, but a 6,000-point hotel in, say, Gallup, NM or Cheyenne, WY or something may not really be all that out of line.
Note you can use the filters on the Choice website to expand the search radius to 99 miles. That helps when looking for cheap places to stay. I use that function all the time, because I do a lot of road trips and staying in rural areas where I don't need to be near any particular city and just want to stay at the cheapest place in a large area.

Well, I stand corrected (sort of). Just booked 2 nights at the Giacomo - Niagara Falls, an Ascend hotel and currently the #1 ranked hotel in the area on TA. Just for fun, I looked at the rates, and was stunned to discover I could book a king one bedroom suite for 20k, or 6k + 100. With the paid rate ~300 for the suite, those 6k Choice points are worth >3c/pp.. an absurd, almost Norwegian-level Choice redemption.
