I just stayed a Comfort Inn this past weekend. I hardly use this chain what's the best use of the points?

There was a promotion going on for Aeroplan but they were not part of the promotion.

Best use of points typically is to redeem them for free nights at another Choice hotel. Your lowest amount needed at a decent place is going to be 10,000 points/night. If you stay during their summer gift card promotion, the $50 Amazon gift card for 8,000 points can be a decent redemption option as well.
