Qs about transferring points to WN
 

A couple of questions about this transfer:

- How long does it generally take in practice? Do points tend to credit on a specific day of the week?

- When entering your WN account number, do you enter the leading zeros?

I entered the leading zeros to be safe.

I requested the transfer on Friday and it posted the following Friday.

I did this at 2013 year-end. They posted in my Rapid Rewards account a few days later, I believe as part of a "sweep" (bundled with others sent over from Choice on a regular schedule). It was dated the day I dispatched it. I had to add the leading zeros - which I'd forgotten about - to my account number, or Choice Privileges wouldn't budge.

FWIW, frequent commenter sdsearch advised in a another thread that this is the best value of a conversion of Choice Privileges points to be found, and I believe he's right.
