It seems there is a cap of 50k per person and I need either 120k or 150k for 4-5 nights. It's also meaningfully more expensive, so if someone has points leftover from Daily Getaways I would appreciate a trade.

Also, I don't have enough points, so would appreciate it if someone can tell me the room types bookable on points at the Kohea Kea in Maui.

Thanks!

GU, where do you see blocks of 2000 points @ $15? I just went to the Choice Website & the price is $9.90 per K when buying a minimum of 5K.

using the cash+points booking option and then cancelling such booking routinely and repeatedly results in being able to buy way more than 50k points per year and results in getting points at a rate of 2000 points for $15.

If you put up the dates needed for that property here, I should be able to check easily.

The cash+points booking method (and cancelling those bookings before the cancellation deadline) allows people to buy points at a 2000/$15 rate as long as they have 6k points already in hand to churn the cash+points+cancel method.

there Is a pool view one bedroom suite available using 6k+$180 per night for those days. There are smaller rooms available including with ocean or garden views but those too are mostly not limited to one or two rooms each as available for booking on these dates. The better suites aren’t available those dates (if any) when using points, but they are available for cash.

Thanks - we will probably end up going with a condo but this seems like a decent option at 30k for Maui for anyone who has bought points from DG.

I think I'm gonna purchase a 55k point package. I currently have almost 155k points. The additional points will give me a decent buffer for my vacation plans over the next 3 to 9 months.

Does anyone know when will the points deposit in our account after we buy them from Daily Getaway? The site said in 10 days. I'm afraid the room will be sold out by then. What was the experience from prior years? Thank you!
